"Black Bean, Wild Rice and Kale Burgers"


Initially I wasn't going to post this recipe. I make several different variations of Bean Burgers based on what I have in the cabinet and fridge. However, this one was different, this Burger is sooooo good!! It's seasoned well, it's juicy in taste and large in size, this is a Burger lovers Burger. Yum, Yum... ENJOY!

Ingredients: 8 Prep Time: 20 minutes Serves: 5 large Burgers

1 cup of cooked Wild Brown Rice

1 15 oz can of Black Beans Rinsed and drained

3 stalks of Kale, chopped, stem removed

3 flax eggs (8 tbsp of ground flax, 6 tbsp of water in the fridge for 5-7 minutes)

1/2 tsp of Onion Powder

1/2 tsp of Cumin

1/2 tsp of Chilli Powder

1/4 tsp of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

1/2 tbsp of Olive Oil

Warm up your pan over medium low heat. In a large bowl mix all ingredients and make into sticky patties. Add Olive Oil to the heated Pan, make sure it's spread all over and add your patties. Cook on each side for 7-10 minutes or until a nice golden brown color.
