"Egg-less Salad"
This recipe is one of the first Raw Food recipes I learned. My teacher and his wife invited my husband and I over for a demonstration and "He" fell in love! That's right, my husband loved it after never trying Raw or Vegan food. This is great to use as a dip for vegetables, on a bed of lettuce or on top of a Sandwich. It is truly a very good side dish that takes ten minutes to make. Enjoy!
What you will need:
Food Processor
Ingredients: 10 Prep time: 10 minutes Serves: 8
1 1/2 Cup of Raw Cashews or Macadamia Nuts
1 tsp of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
1 tsp of Mustard Powder
2 tsp of Tumeric Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
2 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 Cup of water
1/2 Cup of Squeezed Lemon
1/3 Cup of chopped Red Pepper (sweet)
1/3 Cup of Chopped Celery
1/3 Cup of Onion (your choice)
Place all ingredients into the food processor and blend well. If you like texture you can just add the first 8 ingredients into the food processor and blend well. Put mixture into a bowl and fold in the chopped red pepper, celery and onion. Serve
