"I'll have the Salad!"


So often we forget the importance of getting our greens. A Salad is the one of the simplest Raw Meals, but we add lots of meat and dressing which cuts down on it's nutritional content. I no longer use dressing when making salads with preservatives like Red Dye number 4 and High Fructose Corn Syrup as ingredients it's no wonder why our bodies are toxic even when we believe that we are eating healthy. There is no recipe to making a Salad however I will share the recipe for the "Dressing" I make to top my Salads.

Ingredients: 5

1 Lemon (juice fresh squeezed)

1 Clove of Garlic

1/2 tbsp of Balsamic Vinegar

1 tbsp of Cold Pressed Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

Sometimes I just dress my salad with Avacado Oil, Salt and Pepper and it's still very good. Going Raw is not as hard as it sounds. There are many recipes to keep things exciting but unless you have an on call Raw Food Chef, sticking to the basics is the best way to do it!
