"Raw Vegan Cherry Basil Ice Cream"


Yum, Yum!! This is some good stuff. I wasn't sure if the flavors of Basil and Cherry would would compliment one another but this is some of the most calming frozen treats I've ever had. Basil almost adds a minty flavor to the Cherries and the Cherries themselves are just sweet enough. I think I'm in love again!! If you follow my Blog, you know I loves me some sweets but I know better than to eat Cookies, Cakes and Honey Buns...lol So creating Raw Vegan Desserts, Vegan Desserts that aren't high in Sugar and have some nutritional value to provide. Enjoy Raw Vegan Cherry Basil Ice Cream!

Ingredients: 5 Prep Time: 30 minutes Serves: 3

1/2 cup of fresh pitted Cherries

1/2 Cup of Organic Coconut Milk

1/2 Cup of Vanilla Almond Milk

1/2 tbsp of Grade B Maple Syrup

a handful or 8 leaves of Fresh Basil

Add all ingredients to a High Speed Blender and Blend for 5 minutes or until smooth. Freeze for 25 minutes and serve.
